FAQ: Product information and legislation

We cannot guarantee the products quality when best before is exceeded.

List of ingredients can be found on the product page and in our product specification. Our product specification is made in compliance with EU legislation.

We do not use iodized salt in our products.

Sugar in sugar coating: EU

Sugar in chocolate: EU/non-EU

Most of the sugar used is European (EU27) sugar, nevertheless we cannot exclude that non-European sugar is used as well.

Carletti complies with Danish and EU legislation.

We here with confirm that products produced by Carletti A/S comply with the current EU legislation Directive 1999/2/EC of the European parliament and of the council of 22 February 1999 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States concerning foods and food ingredients treated with ionizing radiation and Directive 1993/3/EC of the European parliament and of the council of 22 February 1999 on the establishment of a Community list of foods and food ingredients treated with ionizing radiation.

Carletti products do not contain raw material there has been exposed to ionizing radiation. The product itself has neither been exposed to ionizing radiation.

To the best of our knowledge, we herewith confirm that:

- nanotechnology has not been used in producing the raw material used by Carletti A/S.

- nanotechnology has not been used in manufacturing products at CarlettiA/S

We herewith confirm that products produced by Carletti observe the valid EU legislation Regulation (EC) 2023/915 of 25 April 2023 and its amendments setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs.

We herewith confirm that products produced by Carletti A/S comply with the valid EU legislation regarding pesticides, specified in the European food legislation regulation (EC) No. 396/2005 and its amendments.

Based on our supplier statements regarding the use of Novel Food we can confirm according to our current knowledge that all products that are manufactured and delivered to you comply with

Regulation (EC) 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015 on novel foods

And with Commission implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2470 of 20 December 2017 establishing the Union list of novel foods in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2015/2283 of the European Parliament and of the Council on novel foods

Based on our supplier statements regarding the use of genetically modified organisms (GMO´s) respectively GMO derivates we can confirm according to our current knowledge that all products that are manufactured and delivered to you comply with Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 on genetically modified food and feed and with Regulation (EC) No 1830/2003 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 September 2003 concerning the traceability and labelling of genetically modified organisms and the traceability of food and feed products produced from genetically modified organisms and amending Directive 2001/18/EC and do not have to be labeled.

In case of any changes, we will of course inform you according to our duty of notification of Regulation (EC) No 1830/2003.
